Why this one is personal
Jenny, the founder of Heartbeat Ultra, was one of the first to believe in drippr. She helped us spread the word when we were just getting started.
We also love that trail running can raise this much for a cause like Fontanherzen. Kilometres on the trail, turned into real help for families.
So now we would like to give something back. To Jenny, to her child, and to all the other kids growing up with a heart condition.

From 112 kilometres to a movement
As the mother of a child with a serious heart and lung condition, founder Jennifer Romanowski knows the emergency number 112 far too well. That number became her idea: run 112 kilometres and raise money for Fontanherzen e.V.
Today, many people carry that idea forward. Together they support research and better care for people with only one functioning pumping chamber. A key goal is building a Fontan centre of expertise that brings medical knowledge and treatment together in one place.

How it works
Start and finish at the Sportpark Johannisau stadium in Fulda. Start at any full hour between 6:00 and 20:00 and keep going until 21:00. Run or walk, and take breaks whenever you like. Can't make it to Fulda? Join virtually from anywhere in the world.
After signing up, you'll receive your own fundraising page on Fundoo. Share it with family, friends and colleagues. They can pledge an amount per kilometre or a fixed donation, with an optional maximum.
